TriState Medical Insurance Company Risk Retention Group (TriMed) was licensed in May 2004 as a reciprocal insurance exchange by the Nevada Department of Business & Industry Division of Insurance. TriMed was the second reciprocal retention group licensed under recently enacted Nevada captive statutes. The Reno, Nevada headquartered insurer is managed by TriState Insurance Managers LLC (TRIM) from its branch office in Cincinnati, OH and administrative office in Auburn, CA.

TriMed offers medical professional liability insurance to southwest and northwest Ohio physicians, northern Kentucky physicians and their allied health care staffs through key insurance brokers and agents strategically located throughout the state of Ohio.
